PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device which, after the transfer photosensitive drum and returns it to a developing device, further, return the residual toner after the removal of oppositely-charged toner, and achieve easy return without employing a conventional, large-scale recycling means. CONSTITUTION:After a toner image is transferred to a transfer sheet S, toner remaining on the photosensitive drum 1 is cleared up by a magnetic brush roller 61. When the residual toner is cleared up, a bias voltage for recovering the residual toner is applied to the roller 61. When it is not cleared up, a bias voltage for shifting the recovered residual toner back to the photosensitive drum is applied and, at the same time, oppositely-charged toner from toner recovered by the roller 61 is recovered to a recovering roller 62. |
