PURPOSE:To provide the title method capable of ensuring a contrast also in the central part of a weld metal part and improving working efficiency by shortening an exposure time, in a proposed mask for carrying out a radiographic test, disposing the boundary part between a thickness decreasing part and uniform thickness part in the outside direction from the weld toe part of the weld metal part. CONSTITUTION:In the case where a specimen 100 is regarded as the trapezoidal excess metal 103 of the same metal in the transmission thickness thereof, the central side end 30e of a thickness decreasing part 30b is disposed in the inside from the top side end 101a of the trapezoidal excess metal, the boundary part 30d between a uniform thickness part 30a and the thickness decreasing part 30b is disposed in the outside from the bottom side end 103a of the trapezoidal excess metal, the increasing rate of the absorbing power of a mask in the transversal direction of a weld metal part 2 is set as large as an inside mask part 30c in the mask part 30c of the inside and a mask part 30f of the outside, from the top side end 101a of the trapezoidal excess metal, and the inspection is carried out. |
