CONSTITUTION:In the production of an electrostatic charge image developing toner, classification points A of a multi-step fine powder classifying means satisfy conditions of (1) 1.0<A1...<An-1<5.0, (2) 1.5<An<7.0, (3) A1<...<An-1< An, and (4) 2<=n<=5. A medium size powder collected in the multi-step fine powder classifying process has 3-8mum weight average diameter D4 and the variation coefft.
