PURPOSE:To keep input output level relation by controlling input attenuation processing and sound volume control quantity in response to a boost quantity in the tone control processing so as to prevent a digital clip in the digital processing. CONSTITUTION:When boosting is made by tone control processing, a controller 110 attenuates input signal level to the tone control processing in a DSP 104 by level equal to the boost quantity. Thus, a maximum dynamic range at A/D conversion is secured at a maximum input to an A/D converter 103 and digital clip in the tone control processing by the DSP 104 is prevented. Moreover, when the setting of increasing the level equal to the attenuation by input attenuation processing is made to a sound volume control device 107 in comparison with the setting value of the sound volume control device 107 by a volume level for no boosting, the relation of input output levels for the tone controller is kept. |
