PURPOSE:To negate influences by the multiple reflection within a lens, by processing signals without using a plurality of ultrasonic vibrators. CONSTITUTION:A detecting signal from an ultrasonic probe 20 is divided into a pair of detecting/distributing signals by a distributer 26. One of the signals is delayed a predetermined amount by a delay circuit 29, and the level of the signal is adjusted by a level adjusting circuit 30. The differece of the pair of detecting signals is obtained by an operational circuit 28. Accordingly, a signal multi-reflected within an acoustic lens 21 is removed from the detecting signal. |
