PURPOSE:To provide a dielectric ceramic composition having a high specific dielectric constant, a small thermal factor of the same, and a large mechanical strength by expressing the share of a composite oxide main component by a specific expression and a triangular diagram, and adding CuO in specific wt.%. CONSTITUTION:When the share of a composite oxide main component containing Pb, Mg, Nb, Zn, and Sm is expressed by (x+y+z=1) in the expression Pbx(Mg1/3Nb2/3)-y(Zn1/3Nb2/3)-z(Sm1/2Nb1/2)O3, the valves of x, y, z are in a triangular diagram positioned in the region inside of coordinates A (0.733, 0.244. 0.023), B (0.753, 0.244, 0.003), C (0.674, 0.323, 0.003), D (0.674, 0.303, 0.023). To this main component, 0.05-0.50wt.% CuO is added. Thereby the bond between crystal particles of the compound is strengthened so that the mechanical strength is further enhanced. |
