PURPOSE:To provide a rotation detecting device which has a small size, is free from distortion in three formed phases, and can detect the rotating position of a rotating body with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:The title deice is used for detecting the rotating state of a rotating body 1 and is provided with magnets 5 which are arranged on the rotating body 1, with their N- and S-poles being arranged alternately, and a magnetism sensitive means 6 which detects the rotating state of the rotating body 1, is counterposed to the magnets 5, and has three-phase magnetism sensitive elements A, B, and C connected in series with a phase difference of 120 deg. between each of them. |
