METHOD FOR ADJUSTING AND MEASURING CONCENTRATION OF SLURRY

PURPOSE:To confirm concentration of slurry with high accuracy in real time thereby efficiently obtaining slurry accurately concentrated to target concentration. CONSTITUTION:Slurry S is reserved in a sealed tank 1 in a fast concentrating process, and the slurry S is concentrated to intermediate concentration in a boiling state in the tank 1 under isothermal conditions. A slow concentrating process is performed only for a predetermined time to have the slurry S concentrated to target concentration in a surface vaporizing state in the tank 1 under isothermal conditions. The time is calculated from measured concentration obtained by a gamma-ray density meter 10, slow concentration execution accumulated time and a conversion factor by the gamma-ray density meter 10.
