PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of an output in accordance with a current applied to a switching device even if a current whose waveform has a peak is applied to the switching device. CONSTITUTION:A current applied to a transistor Q2 is detected by a resistor R1 and the current is integrated with a charging circuit 31. The integral output is compared with a reference voltage Vref which shows the required output status of an inverter circuit by a comparator CP1. The on-period of the transistor Q2 is controlled in accordance with the comparison result to adjust the output of the inverter circuit 1. If the current applied to the transistor Q2 is integrated, the integral output shows a monotonous increasing tendency at least in a period necessary for the control of the on-period of the transistor Q2. Therefore, the control over the approximately whole on-period of the transistor Q2 can be realized.
