PURPOSE:To make possible converting respective specified colors which are different colors in color display but are almost of the same brightnesses when they are made to be a chromatic gradation display according to a conversion equation to arbitral brightnesses capable of being identified respectively. CONSTITUTION:As to specified colors which are different colors in color display but are almost of the same brightnesses when they are made to be the monochromatic gradation display according to the conversion equation, pairs between data of respective colors and arbitral gradation brightnesses capable of being identified by human body are registered in a conversion table 25 by a conversion table registering changing part 32 for every one of these colors. Then, brightness map 24 consisting of gradation brightnesses of respective color numbers is made by converting display color data registered in the conversion table 25 among display colors on a color map 23 into gradation brightnesses registered in the conversion table 25 while being pairs with data by a conversion part 33 without using the conversion equation 26 and set in a brightness map memory 6 with a write-in part 34. |
