PURPOSE:To provide an information recording device capable of recording the hologram of two-dimensional information on a recording medium in a high density and efficiently utilizing the energy of incident laser light. CONSTITUTION:By making the laser light of a frequency nuL from a laser light source 1 incident on an ultrasonic optical deflector 2 to be driven by the sine wave signal of a frequency fn generated by a sine wave signal generator 21, one ultrasonic diffracted light having the frequency of nuL+fn is generated, this is used as a reference light 23 and the zero-order transmitted light of a frequency nuL is used as a signal light 22. Thus, a difference in frequencies between the signal light and the reference light for detemining the multiangle of a angle multi-recording is made the largest for the usable zone of the ultrasonic optical deflector 2, the recording of higher density is made possible and the utilization of all energies of the laser light from the laser light source 1 is made possible.
