PURPOSE:To detect a difference between an optimum exposure level and a stroboscopic exposure level on an APEX calculation when it is impossible to control light at stroboscopic photographing. CONSTITUTION:In a single-lens reflex camera capable of using a stroboscopic device which can emit flash light, reflected light from a film surface, or the front curtain of a shutter is received by a photoelectric conversion part 1. The output from the photoelectric conversion part 1 is integrated by an integration part 2, and the integrated output is compressed and transformed logarithmically by a logarithmical compression and transformation part 3 functioning as a 1st transformation part. A prescribed level is set by a decision level generating part 4 based on a film sensitivity, and the output from the decision level generating part 4 is compressed and transformed logarithmically by a logarithmically compression and transformation part 5 functioning as a 2nd transformation part. The subtraction of the output from the logarithmical compression and transformation part 3 and the output from the logarithmical compression and transformation part 5 is executed by a subtraction part 6 so as to obtain an output showing a deviation from the optimum exposure when the flash light is emitted by the stroboscopic device. |
