PURPOSE:To prevent abnormal heating at the time of failure and to protect a capacitor at the time of reverse connection of voltage by interrupting the battery current when the conduction time sustains longer than a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:When a motor compressor driver 1, a capacitor 11, etc., enters into semifailure state where a fuse 10 is not blown out or when the voltage is connected, in reverse polarity, with the capacitor 11 to feed current continuously to a conduction unit thus sustaining the conduction time for longer than a predetermined time, a control section 6 actuates a power supply interrupter 4 to interrupt current supply from a battery 2. Consequently, production of smoke, melting of solder, and damage of wiring due to overheating of the conduction unit caused by semifailure of the motor compressor driver 1, the capacitor 11, etc., are prevented and the air-conditioner is protected against contamination due to puncture of the capacitor 11 caused by reverse connection. This constitution prevents abnormal heating at the time of failure and prevents damage at the time of reverse connection of the capacitor 11. |
