PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive and compact optical magnetic disk device having a good S/N and capable of transferring data at a high speed, simultaneously executing erasing/recording/reproducing. CONSTITUTION:First and second optical beams radiated from two light emitting points 1a, 1b on a semiconductor laser array 1 are passed through almost the same light path, first and second optical spots 13a and 13b are formed on the same information track on an optical magnetic disk 5, a reflective light from the optical magnetic disk 5 is led to optical sensors 11 and 12 and the recorded information of the optical magnetic disk 5 is detected. Then, the first optical spot 13a is used for detecting focusing and tracking errors, erasing old information and recording new information, the second optical spot 13b is used for both simultaneously reproducing newly recorded information and reproducing normal recorded information, the first optical spot 13a is moved first and the second optical spot 13b is moved next on a moving information track. |
