SUBSCRIBER LINE MULTIPLEXING SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To efficiently store an analog or digital subscriber line signal and to easily shift a system from an analog subscriber to a digital subscriber by providing a virtual container multiplexing means and a control channel multiplexing means. CONSTITUTION:An optical subscriber line multiplex part 11a executes format conversion which is to efficiently store the analog (A) and digital (I) subscriber line signals from a subscriber interface device 21 and a digital subscriber line terminal station equipment 24 to an optical 156Mbps highway and to multiplex it and it converts the signal into an optical signal. On the other hand, a remote multiplex device 4 multiplexes the highway signal of 8Mbps from an A or I subscriber interface device 41 and gives it to a remote multiplex transmission device 31. The electric 8Mbps highway signal is converted into the optical highway signal, transmits it free from a distance, is transmitted to a 156Mbps interface line concentration channel device 156 or an adapter 71 through a line cross connection module 5. The optical 156Mbps highway signal is separated into 16 by the adapter 71, and they are given to a basic interface device 25.
