PURPOSE: To examine the existence of a cancer antigen on the basis of the reaction by adding a labeled antibody to the urine which is buffered to have a desired pH, capturing a specific antigen conjugated through a urine treatment container which holds the antibody beads, and treating the beads by a coloring means. CONSTITUTION: A cup 26 is removed from a shuttle container 12, to takeout 1ml of buffer solution. A cap 27 is removed from the container 12 to attach an end part conductor 20 to a lure lock 22. The urine 100 is taken out from a container 10 by the time when the total amount of the urine of pH8.8 and the reserve labeling antibody buffer solution becomes 10ml. The cup 26 is attached to sent the buffered urine mixture to a cleaning container by a piston 34 through the container 12, and the cup 26 is removed. The buffered urine mixture is taken in a syringe 24, to be placed at one side, and the cup 26 which is filled with 1ml of a cytological fixation liquid in advance, is attached to the container 12 again. When a specific cancer antigen exists in the urine 100, the antigen/antibody complex is formed, captured by the beads 50, and remained in a chamber 18. Then the antigen/antibody complex is washed by a coloring reagent, and the color extended on the beads, is read out by a reflectometer. |
