PURPOSE:To provide a device synchronizing the time controlled by a global positioning system (GPS) receiver in the receiver and the time controlled by a spacecraft-mounted computer in the computer. CONSTITUTION:The time synchronizing device of a spacecraft is constituted of a computer 4 having a circuit 10 generating pulse signals at a constant time interval and a GPS receiver 3 having a timer 9 starting to count the elapsed time from the navigational data measuring time of a GPS satellite 6 and measuring the time to the input of the pulse signal. The GPS receiver 3 outputs the elapsed time from the navigational data measuring time to the input of the pulse signal to the computer 4 as the time correction information 12 together with the orbit data of the position, speed, and position measurement time. The spacecraft-mounted computer 4 calculates the time error between the GPS receiver 3 and the spacecraft-mounted computer 4 from the time correction information 12, the position measurement time data, and the pulse signal generation time measured by the reference time controlled in the computer 4 to perform time synchronization. |
