<p>PURPOSE:To allow efficient winding work of preform rod by locking a pair of members for holding a stringing slidingly in tubularly closed state and retaining a plurality of preform rods on the outer periphery of the holding member slidingly. CONSTITUTION:Holding members 5, 6 are opened along with the handle members 3, 4 of a winding tool 1 and then a stringing 13 is held by the holding members 5, 6 and locked by a locking device 15. A plurality of preform rods 14 are arranged with the central parts thereof being juxtaposed to the stringing 13 and then the preform rods 14 are retained by a rod retainer 16 such that they can rotate integrally with the holding members 5, 6. The preform rods 14 are then secured, at the central part thereof, to the stringing 13 and the winding tool 1 is shifted in the longitudinal direction of the stringing 13 while rotating in the spiral direction of the preform rod 14 thus winding the preform rods 14 elastically over the stringing 13 preformed into a spiral shape.</p> |
