<p>PURPOSE:To automatically adjust time after information on an error of a timer is inputted to the terminal device once by providing the terminal device, having timer functions, with a means which previously records errors in time generated by respective timer functions and a means which adjusts the timer functions with the recorded errors. CONSTITUTION:When the operator of the terminal device 20 measures the error of a timer LSI 23 incorporated in the terminal device 20 and inputs it on the keyboard 10, it is written and registered in a backup memory 22 under the control of a CPU 21. The terminal device 20 reads the error information on the timer LSI 23 out of the backup memory periodically. Then the terminal device 20 operates periodically in monthly or daily units according to a program so as to vary the difference from the current time of the timer LSI 23, corrects the current time of the timer LSI 23, and resets the time. Consequently, the terminal 20 operates so that the timer LSI 23 displays accurate time at all times.</p> |
