<p>PURPOSE:To provide the coordinate detecting method for the pressure sensitive resistance type tablet which can securely read the potential signal of the depressing operation of a pen, etc., without decreasing resolution. CONSTITUTION:The tablet is constituted by superposing an X-coordinate resistance plate 12 and a Y coordinate resistance plate 14 one over the other; when the tablet is in standby mode, an X-side 1st switch 15 and a Y-side 2nd switch 18 are closed and an X-Y changeover switch 19 is switched and connected to the application side of a power source. When the X and Y coordinate resistance plates 12 and 14 come into contact with each other by being pressed with the pen, etc., a current flows from a power source terminal 22 to the ground through the X-side 1st switch 15, part x1 of the X coordinate resistance plate 12, part y2 of the Y coordinate resistance plate 14, and the Y-side 2nd switch 18 regardless of to the contact coordinate position. Consequently, the depression point on the voltage application side becomes lower than a source voltage, the drop of this voltage is detected, and the detection signal is used as a program start signal.</p> |
