PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of processing software and to reduce the processing load of a processing mechanism on the absolute time synchronization controller of an observation system, which consists of a center provided with a standard clock and an observation station connected to the center through a transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A first pulse generation means 2 outputs the pulse of a frequency 2f and a second pulse generation means 3 outputs the pulse of a frequency (f). A pulse supply means 5 supplies the pulse of the second pulse generation means 3 to a count means 4 during transmission time required for reciprocating the transmission line 11. The number of the pulses, which the count means 4 counts during the reciprocating transmission time, is the same as that of the pulses, which the first pulse generation means 2 generated during one-way transmission time (t). Then, the count means 4 counts the pulses of the first pulse generation means 2, which is supplied by the pulse supply means 5, during time (T-t), completes counting and outputs an observation indicating signal to the observation station 12 through the transmission line 11. |
