PURPOSE:To prevent a TAB tape from being damaged or a lead wire from being broken by transporting it with a roller system that gives no-load in the direction of tape movement. CONSTITUTION:In consists of a drive roller 7 made of a hard material such as stainless steel, and an idler roller 8 that has a tapered outer surface 8a and made of a soft material such as a rubber or polyurethane. Tape guide mechanisms 9, at both sides of which guide pins 10 are provided, are place before and after the tape transport mechanism 6 and by this, the transport of the TAB tape 2 is performed smoothly. The TAB tape 2 goes between the idler roller 8 and the driver roller 7, and synchronizing with the timing of a plastic dripping apparatus, it is transported intermittently. As the roller system is adopted instead of sprocket wheels for the TAB tape transport mechanism for a plastic sealing device, a tape can be transported without a load in the direction of tape movement and problems such as the damage of the TAB tape or the breakage of the lad wire on the TAB tape is eliminated. |
