PURPOSE:To remove dust produced by ultrasonic welding, completely practically by exhaustion, by providing a suction port communicating with a surface for setting halves in a base and the suction port also in a lateral wall forming one side of a setting section, out of lateral walls of the base. CONSTITUTION:When a pair of upper and lower halves 42 and 43 constituting a cartridge main body 44 are joined into one body by ultrasonic welding, the halves 42 and 43 are set in a setting section of a base 1 in a state where a disk is held inside them. Thereafter, an ultrasonic vibration giving means 22 is moved downward and the surface opposed to the surface of one of the halves 42 and 43 is made to come into contact with this surface. While exhaustion is conducted for the setting section through suction holes provided in a setting surface and a lateral wall respectively, thereafter, ultrasonic vibration is given by the ultrasonic vibration giving means 22, so as to subject the upper and lower halves 42 and 43 to the ultrasonic welding. Thereby, the halves 42 and 43 are joined into one body and the cartridge main body 44 of a disk cartridge is completed. |
