PURPOSE:To provide the display device capable of electrically controlling intensity of reproducing light and its process for production. CONSTITUTION:A phase type hologram 105a of a reflection type which consists of a nematic liquid crystal/high-polymer composite composed of a high-polymer material, i.e., the cured product of a polyene/thiol resin and is arranged with a structure corresponding to object light for reproduction between two transparent electrodes 103 and 104 formed on transparent substrates 101, 102. The display device is provided with a power source 106 for (applying) a voltage to this phase type hologram 105a. |
