<p>PURPOSE:To attain a high speed operation, and to generate a triangular wave with excellent linearity by generating a triangular wave in charging/discharging a capacitor by an operational transconductance amplifier, and generating the triangular wave. CONSTITUTION:When an input rectangular wave is a high level, the base voltage of an OTA becomes higher than an emitter voltage (zero level), a constant current in proportion to VB-VE is made to flow from a correcter, a capacitor C2 is charged, and the output voltage is increased. On the contrary, when the input rectangular wave is a low level, the base voltage of the OTA becomes lower than the emitter voltage, the constant current in proportion to the VB-VE is made to flow into the correcter, the capacitor C2 is discharged, and the output voltage is decreased. The direct current components of the input rectangular wave are cut by a capacitor C1, the absolute values of the VB-VE in the both high and low levels are equal, and the absolute values of both the currents which are allowed to flow from the correcter of the OTA and the currents which are allowed to flow into the correcter are also equal. The capacitor C2 is charged/discharged by the constant current, the increase/ decrease of the output voltage is linearlly repeated, and the triangular wave output can be obtained.</p> |
