PURPOSE: To provide an electrically insulating airtight disposition by providing a casing which has an internal electrode and a conductive path at a connection side to be kept into contact with an outer surface, and into which an oxygen ion electrically conductive solid electrolyte of a pipe of which one end is closed. is closely inserted. CONSTITUTION: An electrochemical measuring sensor 10 comprises a metal casing 11, and is fixed to the measurment gas pipe by a hexagon nut 12 and a screw 13 at an outside of the casing 11. An insulating shell 40 composed of. i.e., steatite, is introduced into a longitudinal hole 18 of the casing 11. The other circular groove 16 is formed at an end part, separated from the measurement gas, of the casing 11, and fixes a sealing sleeve 17 extending from the casing 11. A sensor element 21 is placed on a closed seat 19 comprising a closing ring 20. The element 21 has a tubular solid electrolyte 23, and an end part, at the measurement gas side, of the electrolyte 23 is closed by a bottom 24. A layered gas permeable measuring electrode 25 is installed on the electrolyte 23 at the outside thereof to be exposed to the measurement gas, and a reference electrode 26 is installed at the side facing to the internal space. |
