The invention relates to a door for a motor vehicle with supporting door elements, including a window frame (5, 6) which consists of frame parts (4) and is intended for a window pane (7, 8), the window frame (5, 6) being allocated at least one sealing element (9, 10) which seals the window pane (7, 8) from the window frame (5, 6) and/or seals the window frame (5, 6) from surrounding vehicle parts, such as the vehicle roof (11). The core of the invention consists in that the sealing element (9, 10) serves at the same time as a support for a trim strip (25).
