The invention relates to a transporting device for lorries with set-down and tilt containers (multi-bucket system lorries). The device is used for transporting and loading and unloading heavy unit loads, such as machines etc., by means of lorries with set-down and tilt containers. According to the invention, the device comprises a transporting plate 1 and trestle frames 2; 2' located thereon with receiving devices 4 for the load-handling equipment of a set-down and tilt container. The trestle frames 2; 2' are connected or coupled fixedly or releasably to the transporting plate 1 and are collapsible and lockable, which is advantageous when positioning the unit load on the transporting plate.
