The drawer having side frames (4) consisting of metal profiles is to be designed in such a way that the amount of material required for the side frames is reduced, a rear wall constructed from profiled rails can be omitted and the manufacture is simplified. 2.1 The drawer has a trough (2) which bounds the accommodation space for goods and is provided on each longitudinal side with at least one attachment strip (3) extending towards the outside and engaging in a longitudinal groove (5) in the side frame (4). The attachment strip is fixed non-positively in the longitudinal groove in the side frame by a moulded-on web (6) which belongs to the boundary of the longitudinal groove (5) and is pressed onto the attachment strip. 2.2 The drawer is used in furniture, especially in kitchen furniture.
