A sanding device (10), in particular for the vibrational sanding of the surface of a tube (25) or the like, has a retaining element (12) which is formed with an at least approximately half-round, cylindrical opening (18), on the inside of which fastening means are provided for holding the sanding tool in place. To this end, a hollow body (14) forming the opening (18) is fastened to the retaining element (12), and a velcro-type lock strip (16) is attached as fastening means for the sanding tool to the inside of the hollow body (14). An abrasive paper likewise provided with a velcro-type lock can be detachably fastened by means of the velcro-type lock strip (16). In addition, the retaining element (12) is dimensioned in accordance with the sanding plate (23) of a portable sander (20) and has on its underside a velcro-type lock tape (12') which can be fastened to the sanding plate (23). With this sanding device according to the invention, workpieces such as tubes, sections, squared timber or the like can be sanded down, cleaned, polished or even roughened in a very simple and efficient manner. <IMAGE> |
