Method of producing internal plastic coatings or the like in existing pipelines as well as a device for carrying out the method

In the method, plastic or the like is applied in existing pipelines by means of a suspended nozzle body. A nozzle is set in rotation by the discharge of a gas (e.g. air) under pressure. The nozzle body is centred in the inner pipe by the rotary movement. The nozzle body has no contact with the inside of the pipe. The surface of the inner lining is finished via a smoothing and drawing ring. The coating of pipe branches is possible by the freely suspended nozzle body.
