<p>Folding seat with rocking backrest (31) which has a seat cushion (11) supported at the front by props (12) articulated at their ends about transverse axles (13, 14) carried respectively by the seat cushion and by an element of the structure (4) of the vehicle, whereas the backrest (31) is connected at its lower part to the said structure element (4) by rocking link rods (33) and at its upper part carries at least one locking finger (34) interacting with a lateral latch (35) integral with another element of the structure, characterised in that the seat cushion (11) is mounted so that it can rock through an angle of 180@ about the articulation axle (14) of the prop (12) carried by the element of the structure (4) of the vehicle while the end wall (37) of the backrest (31) articulated to the seat cushion (11) occupies a forwards position which limits the extent of a loading surface of the vehicle, this surface being formed by the support (4) of the seat and by the lower face (23) of the seat cushion. <IMAGE></p> |
