An internal wall for appts. processing photosensitive material forms part of a chamber contg. processing fluid and has an opening for passage of the material. A pair of parallel contacting rollers (28,30) is positioned in the opening with the rollers central longitudinal axis aligned with the wall centreline. The combined o.d. of the two rollers is slightly greater than the opening and the rollers are radially deformable to fit within the opening. The wall side surfaces each have a recess to receive the roller ends, forming second openings slightly smaller than roller end o.d. The rollers pref. have a compliant silicone rubber sublayer (37) and an outer layer (41) of low-friction PFA.
