<p>PURPOSE:To provide a sheet separator capable of contributing to miniaturization of a device while maintaining separating performance of a sheet. CONSTITUTION:A point end guide part 2a for positioning a sheet point end of a cassette 2 has a separating pawl 18 having a sheet retaining part 18a for separating sheet by sheet a sheet P, and the point end guide part 2a is formed in the inside in a sheet width direction from the sheet retaining part 18a of the separating pawl 18, so that a loop end guide part 18c, formed in the sheet retaining part 18a, is in a narrow width at both ends of a sheet and in a broad width at a sheet point end side.</p> |
