<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deformation of a sleeve due to a liquid pressure difference during brake operation and make the sleeve as one of parts in an easy-to- manage size structure. CONSTITUTION:In such a master cylinder that a cylinder housing 2 is formed with a body mainframe 3 and a cap and pistons 5, 6 are inserted through the cap, arranged in the cylinder housing in a slidable manner and guided by a piston guide 8 equipped with a passage through an external fluid passage and a sleeve 31, a slit is provided in the sleeve over the whole axial length of the pistons and the sleeve is arranged to be deflected within the width of the slit and put in close contact with the cylinder housing.</p> |
