PROPELLER SHAFT AND ITS MANUFACTURE

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide a propeller shaft and its manufacturing method in which dependence on temperature is reduced in the connection strength between a CFRP main body and a metal joint. CONSTITUTION:A metal joint 4 is force-fed into an inner side of an end of a CFRP main body cylinder 2 having an outer reinforcing layer 1 made of CFRP at its end, which joint 4 has an outer diameter larger than an inner diameter of the main body cylinder 2 and contains a CFRP reinforcing cylinder 3 force-fed thereinto.
