PURPOSE:To reduce the character insertion time, by detecting the conversion different from that before by one, reading out the shift-in character or shift-out character from the register, and inserting it at the head of the character train after conversion. CONSTITUTION:Before the conversion of the character train of specific code system to that in other code system, the shift-in characters and the shift-out characters are set to the registors SCR 1 to 2 in advance and the conversion to the code system conversion instruction is made. The preceding conversion by one is detected, the shift-in or -out characters are read out from the registers SCR 1 to 2, and they are inserted at the head of the character train after conversion. Thus, the character insertion and processing time can be reduced. |
