<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the penetration of rainy water by covering a joined part between a housing case for a body which houses a latch mechanism and a housing case for an actuator which drives a latch so that the joint part may not be exposed. CONSTITUTION:A body 1 which houses a latch 5a designed to hold a car door to the body of a car and the like and a case 6 which houses an actuator 7 comprising a motor 7a that drives the latch 5a and a worm gear 7b or the like are joined into one piece. In this case, a flange wall 12 installed to the body 1 coats a joint part 16 and prevents the joint part from being exposed. This construction makes it possible to prevent the penetration of rainy water and protect the actuator 7 from being rusted.</p> |
