PURPOSE:To mold a composite optical element enhanced in mold reversal accuracy by removing the internal stress and strain of a resin generated at a time of curing when the non-uniform wall thickness distribution of a resin layer is large. CONSTITUTION:An energy curable resin is emitted to the surface of a spherical glass optical base material and spread by a mold 1 having a desired shape to form a desired resin layer which is, in turn, irradiated with curing energy 5 to be cured. At this time, the curing energy 5 having the intensity distribution corresponding to the thickness of the resin layer 3 is applied to the resin layer 3 corresponding to the non-uniform wall thickness distribution of the resin layer 3 interposed between the spherical glass optical base material 2 and the mold 1 and the pressure F corresponding to the polymerization ratio change of the resin layer 3 changing during curing is applied to the resin layer 3 by the mold 1. |
