PURPOSE:To obtain a pressure sensitive recording sheet which is high in coloring density by a method wherein a developer layer containing mono-, di-, or triglyceride in addition to a specific electron donative dye and a specific inorganic solid acid is provided on a base material. CONSTITUTION:Respective specific amounts of an electron donative dye expressed by the formula I (R1-R7 represents an alkyl group or the like, R8, R9 represents the alkyl group or the like, R10 represents H or the like, R11 represents a heterocyclic group or the like, others represent 0 or (1), and m, n represents an integer of 1-4.), an inorganic solid acid being an electron acceptive developer, and mono-glyceride, di-glyceride, or tri-glyceride are added into binder aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol or the like, and mixed to prepare a coating liquid for a developer layer. The coating liquid is applied onto a base material of paper, a plastic sheet, etc., dried to form a developer, and a thermal recording sheet is obtained. There are clay, mineral, etc., of acid clay, bentonite, beidellite, etc., as a concrete example of the inorganic solid acid. |
