PURPOSE:To provide a multilayer resin container which can shut off the affection of odor of a pearl-glossed resin and has a good appearance like pearl or ceramics by making the surface layer of the container of a compound in which a given amount of polyester resin is incorporated with a given amount of ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer. CONSTITUTION:In a multilayer resin container made by direct blow molding of a thermoplastic resin, the surface layer 1 is formed with a composition in which 60-90wt.% of polyester resin is incorporated with 1-40wt.% of ethylene- vinyl alcohol copolymer. In this way, the container, while maintaining desirable physical properties such as gloss of the polyester resin, moldability, and transparency, has a appearance like pearl and ceramics. In the multilayer container, a gas barrier resin, a low-calorie resin due to the addition of a filler-containing layer, a polyolefin resin, etc., are laminated on the inner layer 4 or the intermediate layer 3 so that desirable properties are obtained such as gas barrier, low heat of combustion, and reinforcement. |
