PRODUCTION OF DIVINYLBENZYL ETHER

摘要

PURPOSE:To synthesize divinylbenzyl ether in a high yield in one stage while preventing coloration. CONSTITUTION:This method for production of divinylbenzyl ether is characteristically carried out by supplying a halogenomethyl-styrene and hydroxymethylstyrene to a rector and reacting them in the presence of (1) one or more compounds selected from alkaline metal hydroxides and alkaline metal carbonates and (2) one or more kinds of compounds selected from a group of quaternary ammonium salts and quaternary phosphonium salts and preferably containing one or more benzyl or allyl groups in the molecule.
