PURPOSE:To provide a steering wheel whose boss part can be made compact without reducing the strength of the core metal of the boss, even if both an air bag device and a vibration restrainer are arranged to the boss part. CONSTITUTION:An air bag device 30 is arranged above the core metal 6 of the boss part B in the center of a steering wheel W, and also a vibration restrainer 20 is arranged between the boss core metal 6 and the air bag device 30. The vibration restrainer 20 is provided with a rigid supporting plate 21 and a mass body 23 that has been supported on the supporting plate 21 while interposing elastic supporting legs 22. On the rear side of the boss core metal 6, a stepped part 9 that is reduced in its thickness and descends downward is formed, and the supporting plate 21 of the vibration restrainer 20 is fixed to the upper surface of the stepped part 9 so as to cover the upper surface. |
