Pallet, in particular wooden pallet, comprising a number of bearing surfaces for bearing a load, which are each provided with spacer blocks which extend downwards, coupling means being provided for coupling spacer blocks of bearing surfaces, which laterally adjoin one another. Each spacer block which is to be coupled to a spacer block of an adjoining bearing surface is provided with a recess for accommodating a rigid coupling element which fits into the recesses of the spacers which are to be coupled. In this case, the coupling element is provided with removable fixing means for fixing the coupling element.
