System for treatment of waste water using stabilization ponds. It consists in placing between the reactors 1, or at the end thereof, a hydrolysis chamber 7 having a plurality of partitions, 4-4', producing a labyrinthine run for the water, long enough for the time that the organic matter remains in suspension to be that required for it to dissolve by hydrolysis. All the reactors 1 also incorporate a partition 4 which ensures that the water passes close to the back 5 thereof, in its overflow edge provision has been made for the water to be concentrated in streams 3, as a result of which when churned up more the capture of oxygen improves, and associated with the fall of each stream 3 the reactors 1 incorporate a small impact surface 8 where a violent impact is produced in the water, the sheet thereof is broken and the oxygenation thereof is also improved. The installation can be built on site or prefabricated, and in this last case the partitions thereof 4 can be adjustable both with regard to their positioning in height and their distance from the side walls of the reactors. <IMAGE>
