<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a method for separating blood which prevents the mixing of leucocytes into the blood component in high density by taking out the low density component in the upper layer from an effluence port through the flow on a seal part and taking out the high density component in the lower layer from an another effluence port. CONSTITUTION:If centrifugal separation is carried out after all blood is introduced into the body 2 of a main bag 1 from a blood supplier, an upper part layer of the blood plasma is formed in the upper part, and a buffy coat is formed in the intermediate part, and a lower part layer which mainly contains erythrocytes is formed in the lower part by separation. Then, a communication piece is bent, and the inside of the body 2 of the main bag 1 is allowed to communicate with the subsidiary bags for the upper and lower part layers through the tubes for the upper and lower part layers from the effluence ports 4 and 5 for the upper and lower part layers. Then, the main bag 1 is compressed by a squeezing device for separating the blood, and the blood component in the upper part in the body 2, i.e., the blood plasma is allowed to flow through a narrow part 7 and transferred into the subsidiary bag for the upper part layer through the tube for the upper part layer, and at the same time, blood component in the lower part is transferred into the subsidiary bag for the lower part layer through the tube for the lower part layer.</p> |
