<p>PURPOSE:To provide an organic solvent recovery device which has high solvent recovery efficiency and uses only a small amount of active carbon without using vapor during desorption as a recovery device capable of adsorbing and recovering an organic solvent vapor with the help of active carbon. CONSTITUTION:This organic solvent recovery device is composed of a first and a second adsorption towers 8, 9 filled with an adsorbent consisting mainly of active carbon for adsorbing solvent vapor 1 from gas to be treated and a meaans for desorbing the solvent vapor from an adsorption tower which has adsorbed the solvent vapor either by heating of the adsorbent or through a high temperature non-condensible gas 20. In addition, the device is equipped with a means for liquefying and recovering the solvent vapor desorbed from the first adsorption tower using a cooling condensation machine, then conducting the solvent vapor which is not recovered by the cooling condensation machine to an organic vapor separation film 17, and returning a concentrated solvent vapor obtained from the permeable side of the film to an area before the machine to mix the permeating component of the film with a gas to be treated and lead the mixture to the second adsorption tower which can absorb it, or a means for discharging the permeating component to an atmosphere directly.</p> |
