<p>PURPOSE:To conduct effective denitration at a low cost in the lightweight aggregate calcining rotary kiln having a relatively low calcining temp. by adding ammonia. CONSTITUTION:A lidded denitrating agent feed port 15 is provided at the intermediate position of the shell of a lightweight aggregate calcining rotary kiln 10, a machanism is furnished to open the lid 17 of the feed port 15 when the feed port 15 is directed upward, a mechanism 20A is provided above the shell of the kiln 10 to drop a denitrating agent (a) into the feed port 15 in linkage with the opening of the lid 17 of the feed port 15, and a mechanism is furnished for measuring the denitrating agent (a) dropped by the mechanism 20A for each dropping and supplying the agent.</p> |
