PURPOSE: To obtain a hair growth accelerator and cosmetics stimulating hair growth by incorporating L-alanyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine chelated to Cu<2+> . CONSTITUTION: Each of the objective pharmaceuticals and cosmetics stimulating the hair growth of a warm-blooded animal contains [L-alanyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine]: Cu(II). This L-alanyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine chelated to Cu<2+> is obtd., e.g. by allowing L-alanyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine acetate to react with copper (II) chloride. The molar ratio between L-alanyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine and copper is 1:1 to 2:1, especially 1:1 to 1.5:1. This compsn. is administered to a part to be treated by a means such as an intracutaneous injection, rubbing into the skin or spraying. The amt. of the chelate compd. is preferably about 0.5-5 wt.% of the whole amt. of the compsn. |
