SURFACE TREATMENT OF POLYMERIC MATERIAL

摘要

PURPOSE:To surface-treat a polymeric material into a material desirably used as a permanently hydrophilic antithrombotic material without detriment to its inherent performances such as mechanical strengths, flexibility and heat resistance. CONSTITUTION:A structural unit having at least two hydroxyl groups and/or a structural unit of the general formula (wherein n is an integer of 1-100) are formed on the surface of a polymeric material subjected to an irradiation treatment or a low-temperature plasma treatment.
